Hot Young Suicides: Audition for the 27 Club Opens October 15th at Stolen and Escaped Gallery (117 East 300 South, downstairs at Frosty Darling). The show consists of new mixed media works by Travis Nikolai. Thematically the work focuses on juxtapositions of youth and death through a paranoid and unstable lense.

Summer is over and that means it’s back to school time. In celebration of sharpened pencils and falling leaves, this Friday (September 17th) Stolen and Escaped Gallery will be hosting our first annual Back to School Night!
Come and see a collection of superb artwork from a group of young artists from ages 4 to 14.
This month’s show was curated by guest curator Laura Hurtado and will feature a mixed media installation by Laura titled: HUNG, DRAWN & QUARTERED: EVERY IDEA IS A PALIMPSEST.
Gallery Stroll is from 6-9pm.

Stolen & Escaped gallery is pleased to host the amazing art of Jeff Archibald for the August gallery stroll beginning this Friday August 20th. The show will run through September 10th.
Jeff Archibald is a self-taught oil painter, sculptor and mixed media artist who spends his summers painting and exploring Utah’s deserts. In the winter, Jeff spends his time coaching the U.S. snowboarding team.
Jeff’s art is highly influenced by Utah’s singular landscape, often incorporating found objects from the desert into his paintings, sculptures, and installations. Visit his website to see some of his work and visit Stolen & Escaped this Friday from 6-9 pm during gallery stroll.
