Nic Annette Miller’s upcoming solo show, HORNY, at Stolen & Escaped Gallery, is described as “a play on words exploring the wildlife, in particular the horns of the massive creatures in our mountain landscape, such as the Rocky Mountain Elk”.
In a more literal sense, “horny” can be translated as point of attraction, which is reflected in the intricacy of woodcut reliefs laid beneath life-size prints of elk, birds, and bees, visualizing a subtle presence of sexuality through a positive natural force.
Horny opens on Friday December 2nd with a public reception from 6-9pm and will run through Saturday January 13th.
Don’t miss it!
